Former Ventnor Mayor Recalls Dune Battle With NJ DEP

Yes, you can fight back against faulty dune and beach projects, but you need cahones like former Ventnor Mayor, Tim Kreischer.

About 12 years ago, Kreischer needed to protect public safety. The State of NJ had little interest in solving the hazardous conditions brought on by dune building in Ventnor.

LISTEN to interview by Dan Klein of WOND Radio > Remember when former Ventnor Mayor Tim Kreischer pushed back against the NJ DEP?

The Dept of Environmental Protection is the NJ state org that disregarded public safety with faulty dune building in Ventnor, when Tim was mayor.

Why are the AC & Ventnor dunes so freekin’ high? Why are already big beaches…..widened on regular basis? Answer: The DEP & Army Corp of Engineers need a place to dump all that dredged sand…..every three years…in order to get paid.
