Legendary Mento’s Ice Cream & Water Ice Returns to Ventnor

CARISBROOKE ICE, Ventnor’s oldest water ice & ice cream shop, will revert back to it’s original MENTO’S name, starting Summer 2018.

John Battista and Agnes Debicz have announced their store in Ventnor will be re-branding and changing its name to Mento’s South Philly Italian Ice and Ice Cream.

Mento’s has been a Ventnor tradition since 1982 when its founder and original owner, Bob Mento, opened the store and brought South Philly water ice to the area.

“After 7 years of ownership we realized the store will always be Mento’s so it is fitting to change the name back.” said Battista  “We have kept the store, the quality of products and the fast service the same as it has always been.” Debicz purchased the store with Battista in 2011.
