The Ventnor Farmers Market kicks off its 10th season on Friday, May 22, marking a decade of growth and community tradition.
Co-manager Karen Warner said the milestone still feels surreal. “It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years. The first year, there were only 26 vendors and now there’s a full slate of over 80″.
Co-manager Maria Gatta announced four new full time vendors joining the lineup this season:
- Armageddon Brewing: cider and meadery
- Birdie Rolls: handcrafted rolled ice cream made to order.
- Kismet Bagels: kettle boiled bagels, schmears, seasoning jars.
- Obscura Brewing: modern, expressive beers and root beer.

This year’s roster features Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, jams and jellies, desserts, artisan foods, beverages, specialty items, handcrafted goods and free advice from Old Coots.
The Ventnor Farmers Market is held in the parking lot of St. James Church at Atlantic and Newport Aves.
Open Fridays from 8:30a to noon through September 4.
