After 4 Year Wait, Margate & Ventnor Finally Get Bike Racks?

Ventnor NJ Bike Rack

After a ridiculous, four year delay, looks like bike racks could finally be installed through-out the Downbeach towns of Ventnor & Margate.

Both shore towns were jointly awarded a $275,000 grant from the Federal Highway Administration. Atlantic County was in charge of handing out that cash.

Too many cooks in the kitchen? Local, County and Feds all contributed to the four year cluster-F.

A monumental waste of time for something as simple as bike racks.

Approx 200 bicycle racks could be installed within Downbeach business districts and neighborhoods by Summer 2021.

Fingers crossed.

Wondering why it took so long to get the racks. Do I read this scenario correctly that when you’re depending upon others to foot the bill, in this case, for bike racks, you’re then dependent on their slow wheels of progress?

What does bike racks have to do with what you refer to as STUPID OUT OF TOWNERS RIDING LIKE IDIOTS? Are you sure it will all be out of towners?

I think it will be a great addition to our town for our full time, 2nd homeowners and visitors who make this town a great place to live and visit.
