Blessing of Animals at Margate Community Church

margate blessing of animals

The Margate Community Church will hold it’s annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1pm.

This outdoor event will be held on church grounds at the corner of Sumner & Ventnor Ave.

Families are encouraged to bring their well-behaved pets for a brief service and individual blessings of the animals.

The service includes a moment of silence to remember all the dogs involved in sport fighting, puppy mills and other inhumane, unethical treatments.

Can’t bring your pet? Bring a pet picture to receive a blessing.

Event is free and open to the public. Raindate is Oct. 11.

  1. Can there be a rabbi there also. ?There are a lot of Jewish dogs and their families in Margate.
It would be appreciated by our dog as well as us.
    Thank you.
