Sack o Subs Rebuild or Rehab?

Ventnor Code Official suggests insurance company would prefer Sack o Subs rehab, not rebuild, their smoke and water damaged sub-shop on Ventnor Ave.

Sack o Subs property was adjacent to fire that broke out last week, destroying the former MANGOS property.

Agree! Just come to the beach to relax not promote political statements…we have enough stress surrounding us already!!!

  1. Ventnor needs more beach mats and should not consider removing them because someone slipped on one. The mats help people who have trouble walking enjoy the beach, which is really the whole point of spending time in Ventnor during the season after all.

I get that they need to be maintained and cleaned frequently, and that surely costs money. But come on; this is a beach town.

How about making the beach more accessible to the elderly and disabled, not less? The city arguably drives more revenue by attracting more people to its beaches.

Elderly and disabled people have money to spend.

  2. The blue mat is really a must have for all beaches, especially in Ventnor where there are not handicap beaches at least not towards the end of the boardwalk. The mat would help seniors and those with disabilities enjoy the beach and be able to get to the water.

I understand that the lifeguards would take those disabled to the beach when you order the truck/jeep but it’s not a regular route for all that can’t make it.

If Ventnor does not put in the mats, someone should start a business and push the cart, set up the umbrella and chairs, Many people would be happy to pay for this. How about if Ventnor wouldn’t pay everyone chip in on their block for a blue mat.
