Ventnor Boardwalk

Lot’s of construction and sprucing up in Margate & Ventnor. Sure, weather put a damper on early June. But work crews have a little more time to make Downbeach even spiffier, before Summer crowds descend.

Ventnor beachfront properties are seeing upgrades. Yup. People love beach & Boardwalk homes along the shore.

Sherri Lillienfeld of Apex Prime Realty says the Ventnor Boardwalk & fishing pier are two of the most popular attractions in the Downbeach area. Right up there with Lucy The Elephant.

Maybe one day the Ventnor Boardwalk will extend all the way Lucy….or further.

Ventnor Basketball Courts

The newly upgraded Ventnor basketball courts are fantastic.

The courtyard nearby [next to tennis & pickleball courts] has been spruced-up as well. Looks great.

In Margate, residents and nearby retailers are witnessing the final weeks of construction of a mini-golf course.

Will work on ‘Congo Falls’ be finished by the July 4 weekend?

There’s nothing mini about this Margate miniature golf course. Work at the corner of Adams & Ventnor Ave seems quite complex. When finished, will this family attraction look and function like an miniature amusement park? We shall see.

On the other side of Margate, along the bay at Amherst Ave, demolition of 2 shuttered businesses is almost done. Captain Andy’s is no more.

In it’s place, construction of 2 mixed-use buildings that includes docks, restaurants and apartments, will start later this year.
