After a slight delay, Ventnor has started it’s much anticipated Northbeach streetscape improvements. Crews have started to rip up the sidewalks along Atlantic Ave.

Sad to see mature trees being cut down though.

The Ventnor North Beach Business District will see street and sidewalk improvements, courtesy of an $800,000 grant from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.

The Ventnor Northbeach business district will soon feature decorative street lights, trash and recycling containers and other sidewalk improvements.

Ventnor pedestrian safety should be improved as well, especially as DownbeachBUZZ learned of Ventnor’s plan to finally reduce the speed limit on Atlantic Ave from 35 to 25 mph.
