
Lee Enterprises, parent company of the Press of Atlantic City, working hard to recover from the ongoing cyber-ransomware attack that started in early Feb 2025.
The attack continues to disrupt operations, including the distribution of print and online publications.
The Qilin ransomware group has claimed responsibility, alleging theft of 350GB of sensitive data and threatening its release unless a ransom is paid by March 5, 2025.

Lee Enterprises owns 77 daily newspapers including the Press of Atlantic City.
