Demolition of Ventnor Gas Station Clears Way for Dunkin Donuts

The long shuttered gas station at Portland & Ventnor Ave. is gone. Thanks to a diesel back-hoe. Large banners now proclaim the imminent arrival of Dunkin Donuts, with drive-thru. Seems like Ventnor commercial Real Estate is finally on a roll. A real trend here.

And how about the resurrection of the Ventnor Twin Movie Theater? Who da thunk it? Like Lucy, this landmark also escaped the wrecking ball. Coming soon: Ventnor Square. 3 screens, food & adult beverages. Opening Spring 2019.

Dorset Ave business district in Ventnor is also kickin’ some serious tail.

Steve’s Barber Shop will soon vacate their Atlantic Ave location in order to snag a prime storefront on Dorset. Great neighbors too, like Capri Pizza and Enchanted Day Spa.

Really nice to see a majority of the retail storefronts occupied & ready for business.

Retail space getting snapped up. This Ventnor business district enjoys excellent auto, bike & pedestrian traffic.

Maybe some of this retail mojo will make it’s way to the Wellington Ave shopping plaza. A few choice spots are still open there. Shopping destination features Island Gym, Wine & Spirits, ACME, Post Office, Auto Zone.
