Margate Beach Tags

Margate beaches open to sunbathing and swimming.

Margate beach tags can be used in both Ventnor and Margate.

Seasonal badges are $7 (ages 12-64)

$3.50 for seniors 65 and over through May 31. The price increases to $15 afterward.

No weekly badges available this year.

Margate beach badges can be purchased at the Martin Bloom Pavilion, 101 S. Huntington Ave. (behind the Margate City Public Library) staring Friday, May 15.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Badges paid for in advance can be picked up at Bloom Pavilion.

Kayaking and surfing are allowed only at specific beaches. Contact Beach Patrol Headquarters for those locations.

Hobie Cat sailing is allowed by permit only.

Animals are not permitted on the Beach as per the Margate City Code Chapter 75-6Q.

Beach Badges are required for everyone 12 and older when on the beaches during the season, which runs from the 3rd week in June through Labor Day. The badges should be conspicuous and available upon request by a Beach Badge Inspector.
