The simple act of installing bike racks in Ventnor and Margate is not so simple. This long-awaited project will be delayed…again. For at least a year. Ugh.
This Downbeach bike rack nonsense has been going on since 2017.
Two years ago, Ventnor and Margate received a grant to install bike racks throughout the Downbeach area. The funds have yet to be disbursed.
The lack of bike racks is a real problem, especially since biking is a common way of getting around.
Atlantic County was in charge of putting the project out to bid.
