Downtown Ventnor Group Ready to Upgrade Visual Appeal of City

VentnorVentnor is buzzing with some new efforts aimed at making Summer 2015 a great success for visitors, local business and residents.

One such effort that will help boost Ventnor Tourism is called ‘Downtown Ventnor’, a non-profit group of volunteers dedicated to improving the visual appeal and vibrancy of downtown Ventnor.

The big goal of ‘Downtown Ventnor’ is to promote this part of Absecon Island as a progressive place to live, shop, and invest.

Local designers, contractors, city department heads, and volunteers will work together on projects throughout the city. Façade improvements, streets-scape design and signage repair, etc… will improve the five unique business districts….or ‘down-towns’ in Ventnor.

These upgrades will promote a sense of place; an identity that reflects positively in the minds of residents, visitors and investors. ‘Even small improvements are improvements’ says group leadership.

Good news….this ‘Downtown Ventnor’ organization looks to be 100% non-political. It’s nice to see an effort like this with no ties or affiliations with any political party or local activist blog.

Wanna help? Tim could use donations and/or volunteers in these areas: construction skills, painting, design / presentation skills, and/or building material or supplies. Maybe you’re willing to donate or reduce your contractor rate for one of their upcoming projects? Contact DowntownVentnor@Gmail.com
