Get Well Soon To The Geator, Jerry Blavat

Geator Jerry Blavat
The Geator

To all loyal Jerry Blavat fans and friends: since Labor Day 2022, The Geator is dealing with some health issues related to a torn shoulder. After all kinds of evaluations, it’s more than the shoulders. It’s a nerve and muscular issue.

From Jerry Blavat, Geator with the Heater:

Recently I have been getting medical attention and the most modern therapies available for this condition, which is not life threatening, but because of the treatments, my doctors have advised me to cut down on my schedule for the time being.

Unfortunately and much to our regret…

The January 28 show at the Kimmel Cultural Campus has been postponed. We are working to reschedule. We will announce new date as soon as it’s confirmed. Your tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date. Check email for communication from Kimmel Cultural Campus.

For the time being, Jerry Blavat will not be appearing on Thursdays at Live Casino & Hotel Philadelphia due to a change in management and regrouping, but once that’s complete, they will be reschedule appearances and will announce new dates.

Meanwhile, you can still listen to the best of Geator Gold Radio on all the usual radio outlets.

Jerry: With the medical attention and additional rest I’ve been getting, I look forward to being back back with you shortly. Thank you for your understanding and for the loyalty and respect that you’ve shown me throughout the years, and thank you for the love and support you have been sending my way.

See you soon – The Geator, Jerry Blavat

I called the condo, but it went to voice mail. Please tell the Geat I am praying for him. if you guys need anything at all – please do not hesitate to call me anytime. 215-789-0800. Larry

    Jerry,
Keeping you in prayer for a speedy recovery. There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am to have grown up in the era of your dance parties, and for the positive influence you have had over my love of music and dance. I have always admired you in how you made a living from doing what you love., and at the same time keeping the music alive. We NEED YOU to get better soon and get back out there. In your words, you only rock once and the party is not over. Much love to you. God bless you until we meet again.
