Volunteer Opportunities Available.
Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties (JFS) invites families to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in a Day of Service on Monday, January 20 from 10am to 12pm at the agency’s Margate office.
On this day of unity, service and transformation, volunteers can assist with these projects –
Food Pantry Bag Assembly: Help package food pantry items into bags for clients.
Coloring and Card Creation: Get artistic making cards or writing notes to accompany meal deliveries.
Toiletry Kit Collection: Bring in toiletry items – shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc. – and then create the kits.
Toy Revitalization: Help counselors refresh areas for children they work with by cleaning toys used for therapy.
On-The-Go Bag Assembly: For people unable to prepare meals, on-the-go bags offer ready to eat food.
