On June 5, Seth Grossman came from behind to pull off a stunning upset over Hirsh Singh in the Republican Congressional primary. Grossman will square off against Jeff Van Drew (D) in the November general election. Both looking to take over the seat of retiring congressman, Frank LoBiondo.

Harry Hurley Radio: Seth Grossman had one of the greatest victories in Atlantic County history.

Democrats believe winning the 2nd District is critical to retaking the House in November. But it won’t be easy for Van Drew. In 2016, Trump won the 2nd Congressional District by 4.6 percentage points.

Grossman vs Van Drew. Gunning for soon-to-be vacated Congressional seat of Frank LoBiondo.

Grossman ignored skeptics and proudly rode the Trump Train to victory. No easy feat when you’re virtually ignored by Atlantic County’s GOP leadership.

Voter turnout was light.

The Atlantic County Republican Committee was accused of being seduced by lofty financial promises of presumptive front-runner Singh.

Grossman is an Atlantic County attorney, a former freeholder, and a former councilman of Atlantic City.

Grossman handily beat Linwood businessman Singh by more than 2,000 votes.

Grossman won without getting one single nomination… in any county… during the primary conventions. Proves just how out-of-touch some political ‘experts’ have become.

The County Chairman and key GOP officials may need to scrub egg off their face. Blinded by dollar signs? Singh promised to self-fund his campaign.

Mark Padula, former chairman of the Atlantic City Republican Organization said: ‘It’s a great night for the 2nd legislative district. We stand with Seth for the general election. We’ll be victorious come November. Seth Grossman is the perfect choice to succeed Congressman Lobiondo.’
