To the editor:
I urge the voters of Margate to vote yes on Question 3 Nov 4. A yes vote would authorize the city to spend up to $200,000 to fight the installation of the berm-dune project.
That being said, I find it hard to believe why this vote is even necessary. Last November the voters of Margate overwhelmingly (2-1) rejected joining the state and Army Corps beach project. This vote occurred after Gov. Christie informed us that it was a done deal regardless of the outcome of the vote while calling us “stupid.”
