The Longport Police Department was proud to support the Galloway Township Police 5K Valor Run held at historic Smithville Village.
Representing Longport, Chief Ray Burgan was joined by his brother, Atlantic County Sheriff’s Detective Paul Burgan, to complete the course.
Chief Burgan finished with a time of 24:38, earning 39th place overall and 3rd in his age group.
The event raised funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Galloway Township Police Foundation, providing direct support to our nation’s first responders and veterans.

With 174 runners participating, the energy was high and the mission even higher.
A huge thank you to Galloway PD for hosting such a meaningful event. We look forward to seeing everyone at the starting line again next year.
