From Downbeach Current: MARGATE – A cornucopia of autumn activities will be overflowing on Amherst Avenue when the annual Fall Funfest by the Bay kicks off Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28-29.
Sponsored by the Margate Business Association, the two-day event includes amusement rides, more than 100 vendors and exhibits, two stages of entertainment, boat rides on the back bay, marine education displays, a Zumba alley, local cuisine and a beer garden. In the past, tens of thousands of have enjoyed the event over the two days including the Phillie Phanatic who will return noon-1 p.m. Sunday.
