Margate Solicitor Scott Abbott: Their sidewalk failed. It didn’t have the proper slope. Sunrise had to rip out the sidewalk. All the concrete is going to be replaced. The slope can’t exceed 2%. I think it was closer to 4%. They got ‘failed’ by Atlantic County and Margate City.
The concrete contractor hired by Sunrise Tequila owners screwed up big time.

Scott Abbott, “ They GOT failed by Atlantic County.” ? Wow, my guess, Scott Abbott Got Failed in english composition. What a great collection of knuckleheads. The future of Margate is in the hands of fools!

Come on Jeff. Let’s see you take down a building and claim hardship when this action to create an empty lot eliminates the hardship argument.
Then let see you bring plans with no setbacks and inadequate parking and see if they approve your plan with the many variances. Hope you used Goldstein!
Maybe if you gave them a billboard to advertise their campaign in the last election they give you variances for your new home under construction and your more variances for your new bar.
I don’t think you would get it approved unless you’re an insider. So spare me your no one gets hurt claims.
It’s an insiders scam after scam.
