Ventnor beaches will close after Labor Day. Due to late Labor Day weekend, crowds are much lower. No lifeguards available to guard the beaches after SEPT 7, 2015.
Need a dip in the ocean? Just head to Margate. Six beaches will be open for a few more weeks.
The Margate beaches will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sunday, Sept. 13, and Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-20:
- Brunswick
- Decatur
- Huntington
- Knight
- Thurlow
- Jefferson
Longport will have four beaches guarded:
- 16th
- 26th
- 30th
- 33rd
To ensure personal safety, the beach patrols advise that you only swim only when lifeguards are present.
