A Memorial Day ceremony will be held on at site of the Saracini-O’Neill Memorial, on the boardwalk at Jackson Ave, border of Ventnor and Atlantic City.
Sunday, May 30, 2021. 10am.
The Saracini-O’Neill Atlantic City 9/11 Memorial Committee reports that this year’s honorees will be:
- Gerald Anthony McCall, Silver Star Medal and Purple Heart Medal recipient
- Joseph Caserta a WW2 veteran, a Bronze Star for Valor honoree.
Emcee of event: Memorial Honor Guard with Michael Fedorko (Vietnam Vet)
This year’s event:
- ACFD Sandpipers Pipes and Drums
- Vocalists Bella Previty and Suzie Neustader
- Gary O’Brian (Vietnam Vet) and Brendan Shurr honoring fallen heroes.
- ACFD and ACPD Honor Guard perform Presentation of Colors.
- 15’x25’ American Flag draped from ACFD Ladder Truck.
- 40 ton Memorial Day theme sand sculpture.
The Saracini-O’Neill AC Memorial Committee also conducts the September 11 Memorial Ceremony in September
and Veterans Day Ceremony in November.
The Saracini-O’Neill Atlantic City 9/11 Memorial is a private 501(c)(3), all volunteer organization dedicated to remembering those individuals who perished on September 11, 2001 and in our subsequent military response to worldwide terrorism.
