The current stage cost Ventnor taxpayers approx $233,000.
Ventnor Commissioners rejected an earlier single bid by the builder, Walters Marine who wanted $750,000 to build a new stage / bandshell.
Very few knew about the RFP according to then commissioner, Tim Kriebel.
