Annual Boat Parade

The team at ‘Ventnor Go Green’ is prepping for their annual water-based parade on SAT, Aug 6. This year, registration is FREE, thanks to the amazing support of local sponsors.

The Ventnor Go Green Water Parade features non-fossil fueled boats, canoes, pontoons, kayaks and other floating vessels, parading through the Ventnor back-waterways.

Participants are encouraged to build BIG and dream BIG. Can you build something outrageous…that floats… and is green-friendly? This is a family friendly event enjoyable to costumed paddlers and spectators alike.

Ventnor Go Green Water Parade showcases waterways, homes, activities of Ventnor …. without using fossil-fuels.

The fun starts at Ski Beach Park, located at the end of Dorset Ave. The parade course flows from Ski Beach through the back canals of Ventnor and ends up at the Dr. John Holland Boat House at Surrey and Calvert Ave. Prizes and awards are given out at the BBQ following the parade at the boat house.
