The North Beach section of Ventnor is set to start a streetscape improvement project that should be completed by May of 2018.
Ventnor Board of Commissioners approved and awarded a $69, 925. contract to Marathon Engineering who will upgrade three blocks of Atlantic Ave between Weymouth and Surrey ave.
This hip & funky Ventnor neighborhood will get new curbs, sidewalks, streetlights, trees, benches and bike racks. No word yet on when a bike path will be installed on Atlantic Ave.
Ventnor Commissioner Lance Landgraf abstained from voting on the contract award due to his past employment with Marathon Engineering.
