As of April 30, work continues at Point Park in Longport. A beach access path was added on the bay side.

A water fountain for people and their dogs was installed, along with new bike racks. Paving of the turn-around roadway will begin next week.

Light poles and more landscaping will soon be added.

The footprint of the park remains the same but has been refreshed with a concrete retaining wall, red brick pavers to the fishing jetty and five parking spaces.

Additional parking is available on Atlantic Avenue.

Once construction is completed, the borough will announce the day and time for a ribbon cutting ceremony and then The Point will be reopened to the public!
