Not easy doing business in Atlantic City. Finally, NJ State is getting involved. Developers finally receive permits.

From Hammer and Nails Ocean Club Facebook page: It has been quite a journey trying to bring Hammer & Nails to the Atlantic City Boardwalk. It’s not been easy to say the least. There have been many hurdles in our buildout which stems from major delays with the city. On average it takes 6 months to get permits, 90+ days to get inspections. Now we’re looking towards the state intervening and help us move this project along.

  1. I am a permit expeditor based in Atlantic City, we get permits daily and have never had any issues with Anthony Cox or his staff, I personally find him to be very professional and helpful. Our Mayor is another story as he and his administration have failed our community over and over again. If you or anyone else needs help getting through the permit process give us a call at Boardwalk Design & Development Inc. 609-418-9198. Over 20 years of experience in this area!! DCA and Local permitting professionals here at Boardwalk!!

Give us a call Michael Elliot, we love your concept!

  2. We recently opened a business in Atlantic City and had a great deal of issues getting permits and licenses. We experienced delays, run around and a general lack of urgency from AC government.

Due to these issues, we missed the very important summer season and now are struggling to get sales.

Big regrets choosing AC to do business in.

  3. I agree with Patty above, the Construction Office and Mr. Cox are very professional and it is a well run office. Most of the licensing offices are run in a professional manner.
