See Pics: Ventnor Movie Theatre Ready For Re-Launch on May 22

The long shuttered Ventnor Twin Movie was moments away from being condemned and demolished.

Now, just a few years later, the 1930’s era structure is ready for a comeback as the all new, Ventnor Square Theatre.

Official grand opening & ribbon cutting is Saturday, May 22.

How the heck did this Ventnor Movie Theater development project ever survive?

  • Moments away from being torn down.
  • Pandemic. Brutal, long-term shutdown of NJ movie houses
  • Additional re-inforcement of outer walls needed
  • Approx $5 Million of investment so far.

A classy, ‘anchor’ attraction within the North Beach neighborhood of Ventnor.

Look forward to the opening…the parking issue for the residents have not been solved. It will be a disaster for the surrounding property owners…

    BUILD A PARKING STRUCTURE!!!

    1. You’re going to build a parking structure in a residential area? On what land? And who would pay for the acquisition of the properties, the tear downs, and the construction of this structure ? And for a “parking disaster” (overly dramatic, much?) that will mostly be seasonal… you can’t be serious…

      1. Yes there are properties to build a parking structure and yes in a residential area. Perhaps you dont leave Ventnor but they are built all the time. And if you are forced to park blocks away from your own property, you may consider it upsetting. Seriously…

        1. Where ? Again, who would pay for that property, it’s demolition, and construction in the area of that theater. Feel free to answer any of the simple, common sense questions I asked with anything remotely specific. And seriously, while that’s inconvenient for local homeowners, that doesn’t change the obvious costs and economic realities I cited. C’mon, enlighten us.

  2. Thank you for an amazing job. It’s such a boost for Ventnor. Looks terrific and was so tastefully done unlike so many other cheesy establishments. I can’t wait to attend this summer. Good luck !!

  3. Looks like a beautiful facility added to the Ventnor downtown. I look forward to seeing up close. Thank you for your investment in our city.

Why are people so negative? Use your feet or jump on a bike. If you cant do that, your probably not healthy enough to care about parking.

  4. Congratulations!! Looks like the place to be in Ventnor. Good luck and can’t wait to visit Nucky’s Burger Bar!
