Here are excerpts from an open letter to Stockton:
On May 5, 2021, I was informed by a concerned student peer about Stockton University’s decision to enforce mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations for the Fall 2021 semester.
The purpose of this letter isn’t to be anti-vaccine, rather it is to question the university’s choice to forcibly mandate the vaccine in order to continue student enrollment at Stockton University.
Force an experimental vaccine on students body only adds to fear and discomfort.
It is common knowledge that COVID-19 vaccines are experimental, not a single vaccine is FDA approved. Vaccines are only “authorized” by the CDC and FDA for emergency use.

There are potential serious side effects that can be attributed from taking this vaccine, as the several deaths from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine can attest to.
The university is forcing students to get the vaccine, but only “highly recommending” it to faculty and staff.
The university is deliberately illustrating the action of taking the COVID-19 vaccine to be a glorious act of societal righteousness, even going as far to post an image with the university’s mascot wearing a shirt saying, “Be an Inspiration, Get Vaccinated.”
This is a serious decision that a student should come to their own conclusion on with their family and doctor.
The right to a quality education should not play a role in deciding upon whether a person should receive an emergency vaccination.
I plead with the University and President Kesselman to leave the choice of COVID-19 vaccinations with the individual students and not jeopardize a person’s education over their right to choose not to receive an experimental vaccine.

Big Brother Again! Enough and enough with this vaccine! This is a free country. You have the right to do what you want with your body. Your medical information is private and should remain that way. They should not be controlled by FEAR as most people are in this country. It is a very very powerful weapon. History can confirm this.
If I heard correctly, colleges can’t legally mandate anyone to receive these vaccinations. The reason behind this belief, is that these vaccinations were approved under emergency circumstances. They met the criteria as of this moment, for a “regular” approval through the (Food & Drug Administration) F.D.A..

Why force a vaccine upon young adults when the older population is more at risk? What is the hidden agenda? For a virus that has a 99%+ survival rate!
This vaccine is rushed and targets mRNA, new territory. I am old enough to have witnessed the birth defects caused by Thalidomide, the wonder drug of the 1950s. I had a college friend that nearly died after the 1976 flu vaccine. Medical science is often wrong.
MAKE TEACHER’S UNIONS ILLEGAL.
Like everything else going on it’s all about “control”. Do as I say , not as I do. The suppression of individual liberty. At the same time VACCINATED teachers Union members throughout the country refuse to go back to work and teach children who are losing valuable months of education. I have to believe that most individual teachers are still honorable and worthy of respect but the unions and higher-ups have a different agenda.
Kudos to the students and their families for standing up against this attack on their individual rights. They are an example for the rest of us.

Bottom line – no one should be forced to take an experimental vaccination in order to receive an education. Young healthy adults are at an extremely low risk. I hope the college students protest and stick up for their rights. We must speak up and stop illegal use of power & control. Why are they pushing this vaccine so hard? There’s more to this then the public knows. Time will tell. Truth will prevail.
The University should require that either everybody be vaccinated students, teachers and workers or nobody get it
It’s people like Laura that are holding the economy from recovering. These vaccines are SAVING LIVES and in turn will save business.
The vaccine is not experimental and this has nothing to do with politics. Do you bitch this much about wearing shoes? Seatbelts? So stop being a mouthpiece for nonhealth professionals.
Why do you care if I wear shoes or I wear my seatbelt ? Shoes and seatbelts are not something that gets injected into my healthy body. We do not know the truth and we might not ever.
