Struggling Business Ready for Relaxed Restrictions in New Jersey

After 14 months of brutal, shut-downs ordered by Gov Murphy, New Jersey is ready to get back to business. Less restrictions as of May 19.

Indoor bar seating is OK starting May 7. Social distancing still expected though.

NJ Gov Murphy: “Events that we all associate with summer, from fireworks displays to parades to the state fair, can all go forward as long as attendees keep 6 feet of distance” 

No more capacity limits on outdoor gatherings as of May 19. Social distances recommended. CDC says outdoor masks not really needed.

  • Retail
  • Hair salons/barber shops
  • Amusement parks
  • Gyms

Indoor gathering limits increase from 25 to 50.
