The 2016 edition of the Ventnor City Garden Tour is this Sunday, July 10.
Letter to the Editor, from Marsha Galespie: The Ventnor Garden Tour is quite unique. We have different styles of gardening in each part of town. We have “Funky Ventnor Heights” that likes to re-purpose trash to treasure antiques, create tiki designs and bars, restore original lifeguard boats, ponds and vegetable gardens… all surrounded with beautiful foliage.
The beach side of Ventnor includes St. Leonard’s Tract and North Beach. Elegant, alluring, most interesting bushes and trees, along with stunning flowers.
What amazes me: ALL of our gardeners always want participate even tho I “nudge them” a little bit. It seems people like to make changes and this event gives them motivation to do that.
We have three new gardens… and two that just came alive after being battered by Hurricane Sandy….and we can’t wait to show them off.
Most important: our local business’s support all of these types of events. So please, stop and have breakfast or lunch… and check out some of our stores too.
The Garden Tour helps the Beautification Committee to do more for Ventnor .

Tickets are $15. Sorry, no refunds, Rain or Shine. Pick-up tickets on day of event at Ventnor City Hall from 9a. til noon.
