Andy Gerson
Oh, Andy. Both electric and gas must coexist for many decades. Nothing wrong with EVs. However, our electric grid is by far way too low in capacity to support these mandates. NJ and the rest of the U.S. would need substantial energy development. Just a note, turbines barely generate 2% of energy needs.
So, we need a lot more sources of reliable and cheap energy. Now imagine our electric utility costs during summer months which AC eleteic has gone up 30% or more this year alone.

Hybrid at best.
Electric cars are not worth it.
