Not many. Most don’t even know about the meeting. Most don’t know what a Master Plan is.
Master Plans help guide future decisions related to development, zoning, and the preservation of Ventnor City.
By having the public hearing at Ventnor City Educational Complex, VCEC, on Thurs Aug 6, this once per decade mtg will NOT be available for live viewing and/or archiving on YouTube.
This decision effectively shuts out 70% of taxpayers that don’t live in Ventnor full-time. (2nd homeowners)

Purpose of public hearing? Hear commentary before adopting an updated Ventnor Master Plan, a road map for the future.
Despite growing concerns, Mayor Tim Kriebel has made decision to have the public hearing at a location without ZOOM video access.
Kriebel claims Ventnor City Hall can’t handle the potential attendance.
When contacted, Kriebel dismissed growing 2nd homeowner concerns.

Live ZOOM access and YouTube archive is preferred by most part-time residents ( 2nd homeowners )

Landgraf, Mento and Kriebel being asked by seasonal residents to have the mtg streamed, recorded and archived on YouTube. This can’t easily happen at VCEC.
The DRAFT Master Plan includes, in our view, outdated demographics, less than accurate economic and housing profiles, major problems and objectives, accomplishments and more.
Jim Rutala Associates of Linwood drafted the Master Plan.

The city should find a way to stream and record this and commission meetings!
It was an important view into the thinking of those “in charge” and comments by those in attendance were thoughtful, insightful and of interest.
I understand that ZOOM was set up the day before for those who could not attend. However, I’m told that the link did not work and friends, neighbors, others who tried to sign on were unable to do so.
This is a sorry way to govern a town with so much potential, tourism opportunities, vacation ownership and owner/occupied residents who are affected by the Master Planning. They need to do much better.
A small town does not mean small minds or small efforts.
I agree that a zoom meeting is the way to go
The whole process needs improvement, in every city. Most people especially second homeowners have no idea what the master plan does.
What a scam its the 3 stooges running ventnor n the YouTube didnt work conveniently….cant wait till the next elections to get rid of these 3
