D’Angelo’s Ristorante Italiano
Best of Philly Award winner, D’Angelo’s Ristorante Italiano has been an iconic destination for authentic Italian cuisine for over 30 years.
This family-owned restaurant is a testament to the passion and tradition of two brothers, Tony and Sal D’Angelo, who founded it along with their late sister, Lena.
Born in Messina, Sicily, and raised in Milan, they brought their love for Italian cuisine to the United States in the late 1960s.
Sal welcomes guests in the dining room with warmth and hospitality, often serenading them with his guitar, which adds a personal touch to the dining experience.
Tony works his magic in the kitchen, ensuring that every meal is a testament to their family’s culinary legacy.
As Sal often says, “Everybody comes in here, they’re not just customers, they’re friends.” This sense of community is a testament to the D’Angelo family’s enduring legacy.
