Event Agenda:
- Open ceremony with a prayer.
- Lower American flag to half staff, honoring the fallen.
- Singing of our National Anthem.
- Pledging Allegiance to our flag.
The special presenters are all local veterans. All patriots. And like our attendees, they truly believe “ Pro Deo et Patria”- For God and Country.
Hear the story of two U S Army Airmen from Atlantic County; William Simpkins and Floyd Conover during World War 2.
It’s a story about two patriots. Two warriors. Two men of daring, gallantry and grit. And members of our Greatest Generation.
Attendees will also learn about the origin of Arlington National Cemetery, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Centurions who guard the iconic tribute to our warriors.
Also: Arlington National Cemetery’s connection to George Washington and Robert E. Lee.
The ceremony with close with the singing of God Bless America.
