Beach Tag Info for Ventnor City. Guarded beaches available during the summer months (between Memorial Day and Labor Day). Lifeguards on duty from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.
2026 Ventnor Beach Badge Fees
Ventnor beach tags required from Memorial Day through Labor Day for all individuals ages 12 and older.
Beach Tags can be purchased prior to June 1 for $10 for the season, and $3.50 for Seasonal Senior Citizens badges.
After May 31, badges are $20 for season. Call City Clerk for info at 609.823.7904 or email lhand@ventnorcity.org.
How to Purchase:
- Online: https://www.jerseycapetags.com/ – physical tags will be mailed to your home.
- Ventnor City Hall: Cash, check, credit/debit cards accepted.
- My Beach Mobile App: Digital beach tags can be purchased through the My Beach Mobile App. Once purchased, the digital tags are stored in the app as an animated QR code that can be shown to tag checkers. All purchases are final. Digital tags cannot be traded for physical tags. Download the app here: Apple | Android

Where to Buy
- In-Person: Available at Longport Borough Hall (2305 Atlantic Avenue) and the Community Building (33rd Avenue and the beach). Payment is accepted via cash or check only; credit and debit cards are not accepted.
- Online: Physical tags can be ordered through the Jersey Cape Tags Online Store and mailed directly to your home.
- Mail-In: Residents can use the official mail-in form provided by the Borough. Applications must be postmarked by June 1, 2026, to receive pre-season pricing.
- Veterans/Active Military: Free beach tags are available for active military members and veterans with valid identification (Military ID, DD214, or Atlantic County Veteran ID). These must be obtained in person.
- Senior Tags: Senior tags are for those aged 65 and older. During the 2026 holiday sale, these tags were reported as sold out, but regular season senior tags are typically available during the spring sale.
- Hours of Sale: Borough Hall is generally open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Weekend hours at the Community Building typically begin in May.
