Did you hear about the recent car jacking and mugging near Warwick Condo and the Stockton campus? Most have no idea this criminal activity happened just a few days ago.
Residents are asking, ‘why no mass media coverage about these violent, criminal incidents?’
These crime stories are not being reported in the Press of Atlantic City or other local news sites.
The only news source we found was WPG radio: On Wed, Nov 29 at approx 8:30p, there was an incident at the Warwick outdoor parking lot in which a resident was accosted and their car was stolen. Atlantic City Police are investigating. Jersey Shore CCTV has video footage of the incident.
When will city leaders and mainstream media warn the public?

Atlantic City Councilman Jesse Kurtz tells DownbeachBUZZ he wants more police presence in Lower Chelsea and the 6th ward of AC, adjacent to Ventnor.
Kurtz also asking for increased patrols of all condo high rise parking lots to deter future crime.
There should be more transparency and disclosure about this so public could be notified that these violent incidents have occurred … so that they could have better planned while in this section of Atlantic City. (Hurley WPG Radio)
Recently, one particular car was stolen not once, but twice, near Stockton, adjacent to the Beach View high rise apartments.
Apparently, criminals have no fear of being arrested and being sent to jail. Especially in Atlantic City.
Atlantic County Commissioner, Ernest Coursey is also Chief of Staff for AC Mayor Marty Small. Coursey dismissed concerns over growing crime in the shore towns he represents: Atlantic City, Brigantine, Ventnor, Margate and Longport.
Stockton’s failure to address Atlantic City shootings poses threat to student safety
Things are so bad, even Stockton students are demanding transparency from media and the school admin.
As seen in The Argo, Stockton’s student-run newspaper: The morning of March 10, 2023, just before beginning of Spring Break, a shooting occurred mere feet away from Stockton University’s Atlantic City Campus. Stockton administration failed to issue statement to students or faculty residing in Atlantic City residence halls or the Scarpa Academic Center. Classes continued as scheduled despite presence of SWAT units and armored police vehicles in the area. This incident raised significant concerns regarding Stockton University’s commitment to student safety. READ MORE

Former NJ Senator Chris Brown, now advisor to NJ Gov Phil Murphy, being asked to defend his neighbors in Ventnor, Margate and Lower Chelsea.
A few years back, Brown oddly stepped down early from his NJ Senate seat. Brown (R) then took a $150k job in the Murphy (D) administration. Specific job responsibilities for Brown, a Ventnor resident, still not well understood.
11/30/23 at 6:31pm. Packages stolen off my porch in lower Chelsea at the corner of Bartram and Winchester Ave. The 3 males rode their bikes past my house 20 minutes prior to coming back and stealing the boxes. If anyone has any footage that would be helpful. pic.twitter.com/8Rn3NKMACf

Brigantine and all of Absecon Island are vulnerable to escalation of often unpunished, sometimes violent crime. For years, AC Mayor Marty Small accused of ignoring concerns of the 6th ward in Atlantic City. Mayor Small gets very little voter support from 6th ward.
Did you know?
Most crime on AC school grounds or casino properties not reported within city crime stats.
Atlantic City is short at least 50 street police officers.
Millions recently spent on video surveillance, school police and traffic detail. While helpful, most prosecution and deterrent hamstrung by lenient state law instituted by NJ Gov. Phil Murphy.
No funds for hiring much needed, 50 additional Atlantic City police officers.
Many blame the AC ‘defund police’ protests of 2020 supported by Mayor Marty Small and County Commissioner, Ernest Coursey.
The 10pm curfew siren: stark reminder of just how dangerous Atlantic City still is, no matter what you read in the paper or hear on the radio.
The ACPD is looking to hire more ‘class II’ cops.
ACPD Announces Citizen Services Program Website for Online Reporting
The Atlantic City Police Department just launched the Citizen Services Program website. The public is encouraged to use this new reporting option.
ACPD Chief James Sarkos: “By reporting online, this will free up our patrol officers and allow them the opportunity to focus on other areas such as traffic enforcement and issues impacting the quality of life of our residents and visitors.”
The Citizens Service Program website is https://atlanticcity.prophoenix.com/#/home, or a link can be found at www.acpolice.org.
Ventnor is going to be forced to build a wall at Jackson Avenue to keep the criminals out!
Until they remove Marty (AC Mayor Small) nothing will change! The town is a hot mess on every level.
