The state needs to follow his lead on this issue so Atlantic City can transition into a destination resort.
As a local businessman, I know how deed restrictions discourage investment at a time when the resort needs new development the most, so I find it very frustrating that our other assemblyman, Vince Mazzeo, would rather issue press releases on his bills dealing with bamboo and fox grapes in the Pinelands than actually work to make a difference in the lives of local families.
If Mazzeo and others had worked with Brown, deed restrictions would have been removed, and Stockton would be moving forward on its Island Campus, which would create more job opportunities for local families and stimulate more small business growth in that part of Atlantic City.
