Margate Mayor Michael Collins & Commissioner Cathy Horn came in hot 
and spent the day at the Atlantic County Anthony “Tony” Canale Training Center.
Fire Chief Dan Adams was also on hand with members of the Margate City Fire Department .
The training consisted of live burns.
Margate Mayor Collins was able to gear up and participate in the activities.
The Atlantic County Firefighters’ Association of New Jersey has unified the entire fire service community of Atlantic County since its inception in 1923.
While firefighting has certainly changed dramatically over the years, the Association’s 3 original goals have consistently served as the backbone of the organization and continue to hold true today.
> Provide forum for open exchange of techniques & ideas.
> County-wide communications and mutual aid.
> Professional training at all levels.
Most of the fire service organizations in Atlantic County are members of the Association. This includes career and volunteer departments.
The official motto of the Atlantic County Firefighters’ Association of New Jersey is “In Union for the Safety of All”.
