Gary Fisher, owner and president of Equity Communications is selling his collection of legendary radio stations.
WAYV-FM 95.1, WZXL-FM 100.7, WZBZ-FM 99.3 and WTTH-FM 96.1.
Fisher is selling to iHeartMedia in a $2 million-dollar deal. The sale is expected to close later this year.
Fisher’s 93.1 WMID-FM will be sold to EMF, a Christian broadcast company.

Rick Brancadora, the well-known local broadcaster who owns 94.3 WIBG-FM, will take control of WMID-AM 1340.
Radio INK: Rick Brancadora finalized $50,000 agreement to purchase “Jersey Giant” Classic Oldies WMID 1340 and WCMC 1230 from Gary Fisher’s Equity Communications. The acquired stations will operate under the license of The Jersey Giant WMID, LLC.
Under it’s new ownership, Brancadora is promising to enhance and expand local news and information programming, while building on the legacy.
