South Pacific Island Dancers Entertain at Margate Beachstock 2015

The 6th annual Margate Beachstock attracted over 15,000 funseekers on Saturday, July 11. The beaches and grounds between Granville and Huntington avenues, near the Margate library were mobbed. Beachstock was buzzing with over 100 vendors, performers and demonstrations lined up in the bright sunshine. 80 degrees, sunshine, 72 in the surf. A perfect day for a spectacular and very well-run event.

The family friendly event featured sand-castle building and games for kids, beer gardens, live music, vendor booths, an amazing food court, a volleyball tournament… and of course, Margate’s world famous beaches & surf. Some popular & busy attractions at Margate Beachstock:

As reported in the Press of Atlantic City: It was the first Beachstock for both Dawn Ochmanski and Al Clements from Brigantine. They were happy about the multitude of events for families and children. They loved the large Minion sand castle built on the beach, from the “Despicable Me” movie. Clements and Ochmanski each held an icy, adult margarita in their hands. Ochmanski said she heard about Beachstock online and needed to check it out.
