Miss America 2024 is Madison Marsh, a 22-year-old second lieutenant, actively serving in the US Air Force.
Marsh represented Colorado and was crowned on Sunday night, January 14 in Orlando, Florida.
It was the 96th edition of the Miss America pageant.
Madison Marsh is the first active-duty Air Force officer ever to receive the Miss America national title.
Ellie Breaux of Texas placed as first-runner-up.
This is so awesome! Not sure how she had the time to be in a pageant (I hear it is very time consuming), but even more Kudos to her for accomplishing this and being on active duty.
