Hard to believe but Longport, along with Margate and Brigantine, still prohibit public comment from their largest group of taxpayers, the 2nd homeowners.
The next LONGPORT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING is set for September 20, 2023 at 4 PM.
Any member of the public that wishes to make a comment and address commissioners are required to attend the meeting in person.
Remote public participation via the ZOOM online platform is not permitted.
Longport residents can listen to the meeting audio only. No video. No remote public comment.
Why does Longport hold public meetings at a very inconvenient time?
Mayor Nick Russo not overly concerned with poor meeting turn-outs at 4p. Maybe Russo is avoiding questions about his support of offshore wind farms?
