LISTEN to Hurley: Poll Suggests Upcoming Margate Election Results

The upcoming Margate election on May 12 was front and center this morning on the “Hurley in the Morning” radio show on WPG1450am. According to Hurley, a statistically reliable poll was recently commissioned. The results are as follows:

      • Mayor Mike Becker (who remains incredible popular in Margate) leads the field of 4 by a wide margin with (an astounding) more then 70 percent of the vote.
      • Former 3-term New Jersey General Assemblyman John Amodeo is currently in second with about 53 percent of the vote.
      • City Commissioners Brenda Taube (1-term incumbent City Commissioner) and Maury Blumberg (2-term incumbent City Commissioner) statistically tied, and, are neck-and-neck at approximately 36 percent and 35 percent, respectively.
      • The top 3 finishers on election day, Tuesday, May 12, 2015, will become the new Margate City Commission for the next 4 years.
