Monday, January 15, is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. The day brings together people of all ages to participate in activities and programs that benefit the surrounding community.
Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties (JFS) invites families to visit the Margate office from 10a to noon to partake in volunteer opportunities.
On this day of unity, volunteers will assist with the following:
- Coloring and Card Creation – Get artistic making cards to accompany meal deliveries.
- On-The-Go Bag Assembly – For people unable to prepare meals, Ready to eat food provided to community members in need.
- Parking Lot Cleanup – Spruce up the lot between the JCC and JFS.
- Shred Fest – Relieve stress by shredding documents.
- Toiletry Kit Collection Assemble items – shampoo, soap, etc.
- Toy Revitalization – Cleaning toys used for play therapy.
