The very popular Ventnor Fishing Pier at Cambridge & Boardwalk could use just a little more work. This time, in the restroom department.
The lone unisex bathroom is in dire need of an upgrade. Mayor Mike Bagnell, and all Ventnor commissioners agreed that improvements are needed.
Ventnor’s fishing pier has a variety of memberships for those that want to fish at the furthest tip of the pier. Want to just enjoy the view? No charge to enjoy a stroll along most (80%) of the pier.
At 1,000 feet, Ventnor has the longest of NJ’s ocean piers.
Currently, no funds are available in this year’s budget for a new pier potty. Nonetheless, cost estimates & designs will be researched for future repairs & upgrades to this much needed public amenity.
