Congratulations to Ocean City, Longport and Ventnor for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd wins.

Terrific ocean conditions, a nice low tide, and the realistic rescue format.

Cape May Point Women’s Challenge gets some of the best female athletes to compete in their triathlon.

The event combines a mile plus soft beach run (which seems so difficult), with a mile paddle, ending with a half mile swim.

It was so close! Lexi Sander from Ocean City’s Beach Patrol just inched out Harvey Cedar’s and five time past champion Jenna Parker.

The effort seen on their faces at the finish showed pure exhaustion.

What made the Dutch Hoffman’s the best lifeguard race so far in the 2023 season?

For me, it was the commentary of @stevedelmonte.

Scores, running visual of each race, history, music. A real party scene.

Combine that with exciting and close races, and a challenging ocean, and we had a great event in Wildwood.

Off to the USLA National Lifeguard Championships in Virginia Beach next week!

Sea Girt, Ship Bottom, Lavallette, and Harvey Cedars also competed.
