Pleasant surprise to see the neon lights installed and glowing. The facade of Ventnor Square Theater is showing more personality.

A cool & classy vibe to those passing by, but a stark reminder of the controversial NJ State orders crippling small business owners.

Ventnor Square Theater, an entrepreneurial grand-slam waiting to enter the batter’s box.

Owners Clinton Bunting, Scott Kaufman, and Brett DeNafo are all in, hopeful that NJ Governor Murphy can better balance the risk/reward ratio of public health and growing economic chaos.

Ventnor Square Theater. More than just a movie theater. Restaurant, downstairs bar and upstairs dining area. Stadium seating inside the ‘big house’ theater.

  • Anchor attraction poised to boost adjacent business activity.
  • Ventnor enjoying increased investor / developer interest.
  • Showing a mix of mainstream movies… and more artsy ones.

From the shell of a building that was moments away from the wrecking ball.

  1. I hope they have much success and that people act responsibly once the venue opens. It’s great to see an investment in a piece of shore history and adding to the “Main St USA” vibe that Ventnor is known for.

  2. Wow, what a beautiful property.
At 67 and a lifelong Ventnor resident I have fond memories of the Ventnor theater as I worked there when I was a young boy in 1965 as an usher on weekends when the Sound of Music debuted.
I recall the tiny bags of popcorn from the vending machine a the high price of 10 cents.
My wife and i are very excited to see the theater has been brought back to life in our beautiful town.
    Job well done.
