Business operator Cookie Till wants to grow her food & beverage empire. This time, eyeing the Florida Cold Cuts property at 7301 Ventnor Ave in Ventnor.
As part of the process, a special meeting was held on Thursday May 5, where Ventnor Commissioners approved transfer of a retail liquor distribution license to Till.

Till wants to sell bottled liquors, beer and wine at that Ventnor location. Other details about the proposed business are not being shared at this time.

City of Ventnor has just strangled the business district on Ventnor Ave two weeks away of the beginning of summer.
They did this by closing access to Newport Ave from Ventnor Ave. and killing Municipal Parking Lot l.
For 30 years it’s been the LIFE BLOOD of the merchants on the avenue.
Now the lot is dead, drive by anytime and you’ll see what I mean. No one uses it. Now you have million dollar investments on the ave and no convenient parking.
When there’s no parking on the avenue, they’re going straight to Margate.
When we changed the street pattern 30 years ago to two way, everyone was onboard. The Mayor, Commissioners, City administrator and Chief of police. We saved the business district!
I don’t believe that it’s public safety issue. They got this WRONG. Now we have to fixed it by Memorial Day or they’ll choke the merchants.
