Where? The amazing Provenza Restaurant and Event Center, part of the new Ventnor Plaza.

Why the fundraiser? Raise money for legal fees and awareness campaigns in the ongoing battle against offshore wind turbines along our South Jersey coast.

Who was there? Brigantine Mayor Vince Sera gave an impassioned speech that drew loud applause.

Sera warned against the industrialization of our ocean, and how wind farms will affect local seashore communities like Brigantine, Ventnor and Margate.

Former Margate Mayor, Vaughn Reale kept the agenda on track.

  1. This was an educational and informative fundraiser. Defend Brigantine Beach and DownBeach are working very hard to spread awareness to the public about the pending doom of the Atlantic Ocean.

    Offshore Wind will have serious negative impacts on home values, tourism, fisheries, utility bills, consistent electrical power and ocean creatures.

    1. Impending doom to Atlantic Ocean and Pinelands. What the wind turbines are to the Ocean, the generator substations are to the offshore communities.

      The destruction from the EMF cables through the waters, beaches, the island, down roadways, and into the Pinelands communities will be irreparable.
